Clean Excel spreadsheets

Clean text: clean plain text in selected columns. Numbers, dates and formulas are not cleaned; saved formula values are exported. The download contains the current sheet, without fonts, colors or layout. Remove blank rows: remove only rows with no saved values or text, retaining other content, static formatting and all worksheets. Spaces, empty strings, hidden characters, 0 and false are kept; complex structures prevent downloading, with a reason shown. Each mode reads your original file independently. The source file stays unchanged.

Clean text supports XLSX and standard XLS: 10 MiB, 10,000 rows, A–AX (50 columns), and 8,000,000 UTF-16 text units. Removing blank rows supports XLSX only: 10 MiB, up to 10,000 data rows, with content within A–AX (50 columns).

Files and results stay in this browser session and are never uploaded. Refreshing or leaving clears the session.
